Fix / workaround for bug when website restarts and syncs data from the wx, but misses some. This appears to be working... (15/9/2022)
The new 4G network is now south-side (I had been testing it north-side).
It is used for the weather station and new webcams.
I cannot access the network quite how I'd like, but I should be able to administer things better remotely than I could before...
I am hoping the weather station will update more reliably now. (After a few frustrating years for me) I'd like people to tell me if it isn't!
Some things will still cause grief, but it will be easier to tackle them now...
Things came together yesterday to put two of the new cameras up the mast on the south-side.
Thank you very much to Col for his help. (26/6/2022)
I still have lessons to learn about how to use the PTZ camera (where it is), but I think most people will love it - and it might be a very good advert for Lasham...
I will show it off over next the few days/weeks/months...
Also a fixed camera
The first of the new cameras is up and operating at my home - see
Other timescales (possibly)
Aiming to get new cameras north-side again by the end of the Autumn.
Massive TODO list
Use PTZ camera better
(Now it is up the 10m mast. It gives a near 360° view of the airfield and horizon and covers most of the areas that the fixed cameras don't)
Get rid of old south-side internet connection. YEAH!
Install new network and PC north-side
Install new north-side cameras (temporarily? ...)
Manage more scans without tumours
get driving again
✓get a car
get flying solo again
LS6 online and annual
Sell some varios!
Build a new clubhouse to mount some new cameras 😀
The anemometer was fixed, but the wind direction needs tuning (it is probably within 20 degrees). (9/7/2020)

(David Masson at Lasham Depending on workload, will try to maintain the outlook and soaring foreacasts for most XC-able days)
